Just wanted to say a big Thank You to Dr Ann Nyland for entrusting her Seras Fix customers to Missy’s Bucket. Due to a hectic schedule, Ann has had to close the doors on her Supplement business Seras Fix and she has kindly asked me to provide her regular customers with the same tried and tested formulas that everyone loves.

Ann and I have been busy working together over the last couple of days to make sure there is a seamless transition over to Missy’s Bucket and to the new online store.

Many of the Sera’s Fix formulations are very similar to the mineral mix Missy’s Bucket, with just a few differences here and there. For this reason, we have decided that the best course of action would be to recommend to everyone using any of the Seras Fix Essentials mixes to switch straight over to Missy’s Bucket. Missy’s has a few extra’s, so you’ll also be getting a few bonus ingredients!

The Joint FX

Each 40g dose contains – Glucosomine 10g, Chondroitin 7.5g, MSM 20g.
Research is clearly identifying these ingredients as being beneficial for joint health and repair. Glucosamine, Chondroitin and MSM are known to have healing, protective and preventative effects for horses suffering or at risk of suffering from joint arthritis, pain and inflammation. Not only can these ingredients repair the damage but they are also thought to have a preventative effect.

Research has also clearly shown that they must be present in adequate amounts to have any beneficial effects. The average sized horse needs 10g Glucosamine, 7.5g Chondroitin and 20g MSM per day. If your supplement doesn’t contain close to these amounts then your likely wasting your money!

Use in conjunction with the Joint and Pain Herbal Fx for the ultimate in Joint and Pain Support.

The Joint and Pain Herbal FX

A hard-hitting, powerful herbal Joint formula. A proprietary blend containing all the big boy herbal anti-inflammatories and pain killer ingredients. The ingredients have been shown to have similar pain killing properties to Bute without the negative gastro-intestinal side effects. Can be used in conjunction with the Joint Fx for the ultimate in Joint and Pain Support.

Black Horse / Big Head Mix

Recommended by Dr Ann Nyland and formulated to be fed alongside Missy’s Bucket.

The Black Horse and Big Head mix include ingredients known to be lacking in coastal pastures especially those high in oxalates. A propitiatory blend, it has added Amino Acids, Minerals and Herbs. This mix, when used in conjunction with Missy’s Bucket, is a good addition for horses prone to sun bleaching and those on Oxalate pastures.

Those horses on Oxalate pastures will need extra calcium added. To save on Postage, Calcium Carbonate, which is cheap and usually easy to find, should be sourced locally and added separately at the rate of around 50g/day for the average sized horse.

Calm Horse Fx

In a base of Magnesium and Brewers Yeast, Calm horse includes a mix of calming herbs for your nervous nellie. Designed to be fed alongside Missy’s Bucket.

Most of the ingredients will be identical to the ingredients in Sera’s Fix supplements with a few small exceptions. The mixes may look slightly different due to this.
